Mailbox Importer seems to be the cause of AppServer application pool crashes
Description
Mailbox Importer (MBI) seems to be the cause of AppServer application pool crashes.
Issue randomly started occurring today.
The AppServer used for MBI, which is a separate AppServer then the AppServer used for rest of OnBase Solution, but both AppServers are housed on the same server.
Whenever the Mailbox importer service isn't running, there are no issues with the AppServer.
The other AppServer that's on the same server isn't running into any issues.Resolution
This issue was caused by an email that was very large as a result of using 'Include and indent original message text' which resulted in an expontentially growing email that would generate a 1300 page document.
Execution Timeouts were increased on the AppServer Mailbox Importer is connected to which will help process the larger documents. In addition, the setting to 'Include and indent original text' was removed from users to prevent future emails coming through the system of this nature and causing issues.
