What's the maximum number of tasks a user can have?

What is the maximum number of tasks a user can have?

Answer: 
By product design, there is a limit of 32767 tasks per user.
 Please note that more tasks in the workflow increase the chances of encountering issues in performance. 
Best practices for optimal performance would be to configure your system to utilize a lower number of tasks per user.
